Tool Cleans Up Barnacle Encrusted Pilings and Sea Walls

Barnacle-encrusted pilings can be a pain–literally. They can inflict damage on your boat and to your person, should you be unlucky enough to rub against them. The chore of removing all those barnacles can be a pain, too–a rather time-consuming pain, at that.

The Barnapole aims take some of the pain out. The piling and sea wall maintenance tool allows you to strip off the barnacles and other growth from pilings, sea walls and other flat surfaces.

The curved, angled single- or double-blade Barnapole is constructed of stainless steel and aluminum and can be attached to any threaded pole. With the blade angled against a piling, dock or other barnacle-infested surface, apply pressure to the pole to clear a wide swath, repeating the process until all that pesky marine growth is gone.

The eco-friendly Barnapole has a suggested retail price of $69.99 for the single-blade model and $99.99 for the double-blade version.
