Women Aboard is a grassroots networking organization for women in boating. Its members are called "Sea Sisters." They number in the thousands and can be found in seven countries around the world.

Women Aboard has as its mission the enhancement of "the boating experience for all women in boating through information, education, camaraderie and support." Among the member benefits are:

1) A bi-monthly newsletter for active members and sponsors.

2) A website that promotes communication among members, provides boating-related resources and bulletins. Here women can exchange their stories, get tips about onboard solutions, learn about boat maintenance as well as boating safety and other boating courses.

3) A secure online membership directory that lists every member, her boat name, city, state, home port, phone number and e-mail address.

4) Chapter websites that carry announcements and information on meetings and local waterways.

5) Boaters' medical insurance.

6) Discounts on Ladies, Let's Go Fishing classes, SeaSense training, cruise travel, clothing and more.
