Row, Row, Row Your Boat

The next time you're tied to a mooring ball and want to head ashore in your dinghy for dinner or other nighttime entertainment, use oars instead of your outboard. This way you won't disturb other boaters who might be socializing or even sleeping on their vessels. It's all a part of being a mannerly mariner. Besides, you'll probably get to shore mere minutes later than you would under power, so you'll save yourself some fuel, too.
