TOM TRIPPFirst Photo of the New Outer Reef 63 at its Debut in NewportJust wanted to post this first photo of the new Outer Reef 63, which made its public debut here in Newport after coming up nonstop from Fort Lauderdale. The 63 had just been offloaded from a ship that came from the factory in Taiwan and the American Global Yacht Group crew brought it straight up to Newport, running on the outside, hugging the coast mostly and cruising at 10 knots, making better than 1 NMPG.

We'll have a detailed look at the 63 here in Mad Mariner soon. I went through the boat last night with Jeff Druek, one of the principals of AGYG and the guy who gets to make the decisions about how these boats get built.
