Paul Esterle, a longtime marine journalist and an expert in do-it-yourself projects, has joined Mad Mariner's Advisory Committee, a group of professionals in the marine, journalism and technology fields who advise the company on a volunteer basis.
Esterle is based on the Chesapeake Bay, where he maintains a small fleet of project boats. He is the Managing Editor of Nor'easter Magazine, and his writing regularly appears in publications such as SAIL, Voyaging, Power and Motor yacht, Living Aboard, and Dockside. He also serves as Technical Editor of Small Craft Advisor; has produced a series of do-it-yourself videos; and is the author of "Capt'n Pauley's Boat Repairs & Upgrades."
Esterle has been writing for Mad Mariner since last year, covering a range of topics that includes almost every system on a boat, from the electrical panel to deck hardware.
