Mad Mariner is proud to announce the launch of MarineAdvertisingOnline.com, a website for marine professionals who want to know more about the online world in general and Internet advertising in particular.
As an independent publication, Mad Mariner's readers come first "” without you there would be no magazine. But our advertisers come in a close second. They money they pay to advertise here keeps the lights on and subsidizes subscriptions, helping us to keep the annual cost below $20 (and give away hundreds of freebies).
Many advertisers have asked questions about how to improve their campaigns and learn more about online advertising in general, whether that means making use of social media or building better landing pages. It seemed some kind of resource was in order. We looked around and found nothing "” so we created it.Â
MarineAdvertisingOnline.com "” which is narrowly focused on online advertising (as opposed to print or TV) "” offers a blog that we update regularly and white papers on issues like how to build landing pages and understand online metrics. We'll add more of these white papers as we go.
The new site is free and our hope is that it becomes a resource, a place where marine professionals can go to ask questions, find answers and generally get smart on any aspect of online advertising and marketing. As always, we hope it helps.
