Cutting holes in my boat

Well, at least this time it was on purpose...

Did manage to work on the boat a bit and got the rear cabin door window cut and framed out. The frame pieces are just temporarily mounted in the picture and still need to be sanded, painted, etc.

I don't have the plexiglass for this window yet. My cutting plans wound up not leaving a big enough usable scrap from the other windows. If I had planned a little better, I would have had enough for this window. Ah well, I do have enough scrap for the round side windows still to come.

I must say that i was surprised at the improvement in appearance having that window is on the expanse of the aft cabin wall. Helps break it up, and the rounded window top looks nice, if I do say so myself.
