On the Water

No, the V28 isn't ready to launch (quite), but I did manage to be on the water in a boat i built this last weekend.

If you remember, some time back Dane and I made a (rather rough) Origami Dinghy. We had a pretty good time with the build, but never really got to use it.

As you may recall, I don't live near water, and the last time we got to go up to the lake with friends, we weren't driving a vehicle conducive to hauling a 8' boat. Well,  this time we were in a larger SUV that I could throw the craft on top.

It had handled storage just fine (although like many of us, it hadn't lost any weight... that's my main complaint with it, it's too heavy). We took it out and I unfolded it on the front deck of a pontoon boat. Kind of tricky in that space, but doable.

Dane and I took it for a little spin, with a short paddle (all that was around).

It doesn't matter what you're in, being on the water is great!
