Forward windows

After getting the routing finished (see my previous entry), I was able to start getting the forward windows put together. This finishes up all the "normal" full size windows.

This changes the looks some yet again. I'm beginning to move from major construction work to "finish" work. Not that I'm anywhere near done.

I do hope to be able to put the boat in the water eventually. Current plans are to get things safe and legal, but not necessarily "finished" and launch, at least temporarily. The biggest holdup will be o trailer. Other than that, here are a few of the outstanding items:

  • Rub rails
  • Cabin forward door (and window)
  • Rear cabin door window (the door is there now)
  • Window hardware
  • Motor
  • Steering
  • Cabin paint (another coat)
  • Top of cabin hand rails
  • Hinges on rear deck cabinets
  • Paint on rear deck area
  • Finish side decks fore and aft
  • Finish anchor platform
  • Install anchor handling method
  • Install cleats
  • Head floor
  • Head walls
  • Head door
  • seat backs
  • closet area
  • storage lockers/slides inside
  • seat cushions
  • helm console

Gee... that list is longer than I wanted :-) Well, as I said, a fair part of that isn't required, especially the interior stuff.
