On the Docks: Centurion Flight 33

.: GLEN JUSTICEGLEN JUSTICE

The Centurion Flight 33 is an unusual boat, built for an unusual purpose: parasailing.

Centurion makes fast boats for wake boarding and other water sports and the Centurion Flight 33 is part of their commercial line. The boat is designed to plane at low speeds and maneuver easily.

The Flight 33 has a 32-foot LOA and a 10-foot, 6-inch beam. With a Cummins 350, it has a top end of about 35 mph.

Obviously, it's not a boat for everyone. But it does have vast amounts of deck space and seating for 14 people. With a base price of about $100,000 (the boat you see here is closer to $160,000), it does get one wondering how else it might be used.

Take a look...
