Check out the Nightfinder 200 (above) by Carlisle & Finch Co., and you'll actually see three night vision tools.
There's the searchlight itself, a 15 million candlepower Xenon searchlight with remote operation and variable-size, two-mile beam, which has a base price of $12,500. But that's just the foundation. The company also offers a FLIR thermal imaging night vision camera, which you can see below the light, for an additional $10,000.
Then, notice the small camera off to the left. It's a low-light camera, which offers light amplification technology (the vision aid you get from many night vision binoculars). Carlisle & Finch Co. offers a filter on the light that cuts the beam, but boosts the light amplification camera.
All told, pretty cool stuff. We haven't tested it — and it is not cheap — but the Nightfinder 200 provides a great many options for those looking for added safety in the form of lighting and night vision.
Carlisle & Finch Co. also has many other options across the pricing spectrum. Take a look...
