Linens and Lamps to Liven Up Your Yacht

Turner Bay lamp

A luxury-home shop in Fort Lauderdale is turning its attention to the luxury-yacht sector, with the help of a leading yacht designer.

Turner Bay, which has a 6,000-square-foot showroom in the city, offers items ranging from furniture to lighting accessories, designer linens, crystal, barware, serving trays, and tableware. In fact, the shop is said to have South Florida’s largest lampshade and finial collection, as the creative director is an expert in lighting design and decor.

That creative director is Sheila Knowles, who is also the wife of renowned designer Patrick Knowles. The husband and wife team are tapping their respective knowledge to put together special collections for owners, designers, and crew to choose from. Some of those collections will be showcased at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where Turner Bay will be adjacent to Patrick Knowles Designs in the Yacht Builder’s tent. There, you’ll be able to see stateroom linens, head linens, and various casual and formal tabletop options, for both inside and on-deck use.

In addition, Turner Bay will soon feature an e-commerce component on its Web site, to allow yacht owners and their representatives to order items and have them shipped worldwide.
